The upper Puster Valley
En route in the northern Dolomites
The upper Puster Valley directly borders Austria in the east and is undoubtedly one of the most famous valleys in the Dolomites. In the main towns of Sexten, Innichen, Toblach, Niederdorf and Prags countless hotels and accommodations are lined up together and offer a good infrastructure for tourists in every season. With the Sextental Valley and the Prags Valley it also includes the only two German-speaking valleys of the Dolomites – all others are Ladin or Italian-speaking. Popular summits like the Zwölferkofel and the Three Peaks, the Pragser Wildsee lake and the baroque church of Innichen can also be found in the Puster Valley.
Holidays in the upper Puster Valley
The Puster Valley is a paradise for hikers, mountain bikers and skiers. An excellent tourist infrastructure and the gorgeous mountain scenery will make your stay in Puster Valley a real pleasure. With the Three Peaks Card of the Hochpustertal Tourist Board you can use the ski lifts for free and also ride the buses for free in the valley and receive free admission to museums, sports facilities and the Aquafun Park in Innichen – a worthwhile deal.
