Palazzo Valmarana Braga Rosa and Chiesa San Lorenzo

It is worth taking a detour from the Corso Andrea Palladio to see the Corso Antonio Fogazzaro with its Renaissance and Baroque palaces. Right at the beginning of the road you can see the beautiful Palazzo Valmarana Braga Rosa (No. 16). It was built by Palladio and adapted very resourcefully to local conditions and the narrow street. A little further along the road there is the Gothic brick church of San Lorenzo. It has wall graves on the outside façade and an impressive and beautiful three-nave interior with ribbed vaults.
