Andrea Palladio, the famous architect and pioneer of classicism, left his works and buildings everywhere in Vicenza and far beyond the city walls and national boundaries. Therefore, do not miss the Basilica Palladiana on the Piazza dei Signori, the many beautiful palaces along the Corso Andrea Palladio, the Teatro Olimpico or, a little outside the town centre, the Basilica di Monte Berico and the Villa Rotonda.
