Civil museum and theatre

The small town of Badia Polesine is located about 25 kilometres west of Rovigo and is worth a visit because of its Civil Museum, the Museo Civico Baruffaldi. Here you will find a variety of exhibits from ancient times to the Second World War, including the model of an old mill of the Adige River. Also worth seeing are the nearby Teatro Sociale and Abbazia di Vangadizza, located on the outskirts of the town, primarily worth a visit because of its leaning bell tower and some remarkable frescoes and stucco decorations in the interior.
