Attractions in Rovigo
Exploring Rovigo
Rovigo cannot come up with the wide range of attractions that can be found in Venice and Verona, but its historic old town exudes its own charm and invites the visitor to linger. Right on the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II the art gallery with the oldest art collection in Veneto, the remains of the old stronghold of the Este, as well as the great Cathedral of Santo Stefano and the unusual church of Beata Vergine del Soccorso are worth a visit. Rovigo is worth a short stop in every case – even if you only enjoy a coffee in the middle of the square in one of the many beautiful street cafés.
