Beautiful villa in Mira
Right at the entrance to Myra, the main city on the Riviera del Brenta, lies the Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari. It was built in the 18th century for the Serimann Persian noble family. Only 50 years after it was completed, it was bought by the Widmann family and completely redesigned in French rococo style. As in many of these villas you will find the Widmann family in the main hall on the large ceiling paintings. The painting itself and the other rooms were painted by Giuseppe Angeli.
