Water sports paradise south of the Dolomites

The Lago di Santa Croce is an idyllic lake east of Belluno in the Alpine foothills, which is very popular particularly with windsurfers. Especially in spring and autumn the lake offers windy gusts and therefore optimum conditions for windsurfers. The summer months are a little less windy and therefore ideal for beginners. Great paragliding tours can be started from the surrounding hills. The lake and the surrounding mountains form a magnificent panorama.

It is best to walk or drive along the eastern shore of the lake. There is significantly less traffic and you can relax and enjoy the scenery. The Bosco del Cansiglio is located to the southeast of the lake, a large forest area and a popular recreation area for hikers and holidaymakers from the region.
