The Galleria Numismatica is located right in the cathedral square, in front of the cathedral itself. The impressive coin collection boasts a huge range of valuable exhibits from the Siculi, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Norman, Spanish and French periods. The coins of Syracuse were once among the most beautiful in the world, so it is definitely worth visiting.
