On the road on the northern slopes of Mount Etna
Linguaglossa is located on the less touristy northern slope of Mount Etna. In the summer, Linguaglossa is a popular starting point for who want to climb to the summit ascent and tour Mount Etna. The tourist office has a small Etna museum with some interesting exhibits. Those who do not want to climb on Mount Etna can plan a short stop at the cemetery of the village. The grave chapels and tombs in the Art Nouveau style are especially impressive.
