Parco Federico Fellini & Grand Hotel
Park and hotel on the beach of Rimini
Parco Federico Fellini was named after Rimini’s most famous son, director Federico Fellini. Aside from a beautiful horse fountain, the park features numerous busts of famous personalities and a monument to the great Italian director in the shape of a colossal camera. A quick walk through the beautiful park isn’t just worth it because of the close proximity to the sea, but also because of the imposing Grand Hotel, which is where Fellini stayed when visiting his hometown. Here he suffered a stroke on 3 August 1993, which was the cause of his death in Rome on October 31st of the same year.
