Duomo Sant'Orso
Cathedral church with roots in Late Antiquity
A building with particularly old roots rises next to Battistero Neonano. Duomo Sant'Orso has its origins in the 4th century, yet only very little of the original cathedral configuration survived: three Late Antiquity sarcophagi and the 6th century pulpit of Bishop Agnellus with animal reliefs. The church was replaced by a new baroque building in the late 18th century.
