Palazzo Turchi-Di Bagno
Multifunctional palace
Numerous pompous palazzi are located directly at the impressive intersection Quadrivio degli Angeli, where the boulevards Corso Porta Mare - Corso Biagio Rossetti and Corso Ercole I. meet. Among them is the Palazzo Turchi-Di Bagno built in 1498 and scarcely adorned in comparison to adjacent buildings. The facade is decorated with a pillar corner made from white stone. The palazzo was heavily damaged by bombs during the Second World War, but has since been renovated. Institutions that have found a home at Palazzo Turchi-Di Bagno include the geo-paleontological museum, parts of the University of Ferrara and the botanical garden.
