A rich collection of paintings, sculptures and archaeological pieces can be found in the canonical museum. The Museo Canonicale is located directly by the cloisters of the Duomo Santa Maria Matricolare and displays many objects from the history of Verona, including a magnificent collection of Episcopal Church devices. The museum is organised according to the different eras and gives a good insight into the artistic development of the city.
