Veneto’s largest and most impressive villa

The imposing Villa Contarini rises on the Piazza Camerini almost like a castle. The largest villa in the Veneto is located about 18 kilometres north-west of Padua and was built in the 16th century. During its construction, the richly adorned with statues and ornate villa was designed as a concert hall, and thanks to its excellent acoustics it continues to host numerous concerts, music performances, conferences and exhibitions on a regular basis. Inside, visitors can admire the splendid interiors and various antique exhibits, which are displayed in the individual rooms.

Opposite the villa is a 50-acre park. Numerous small woods, lakes and tree and flower paths invite visitors to go on a small walk in the beautiful natural scenery.
