The small town of Ariccia is idyllically situated along the Via Appia on a small plateau. Accessible via 2 high bridges and bordered by the two crater lakes, Lake Albano and Lake Nemi, the small town is mainly known because of its amazing view and the great location. The beautiful combination of landscape, bridges and the old town centre has always inspired many artists. The main attractions in the centre are the Palazzo Chigi and the church of Santa Maria Assunta.
